Planting trees for life

Once Breathing Planet receive the registration card back they allocate a plot number, location and type of tree or hedge size and variety depending on the product. They will dedicate this plot to the recipient and plant the tree or hedgerow and then send back a beautiful certificate detailing all the information together with any personal message.

The Breathing Planet has woodland sites throughout the UK. All their trees are a minimum of 2 years old at planting and are managed and protected from pests for the first 5 years of their life, after that they can survive with minimal management and annual checks. Breathing Planet sites are selected with the local environment in mind, such as helping to improve the local habitat, reduce soil erosion, increase woodlands or coppice size to name but a few. They plant a range of trees according to their site surveys but aim for broadleaf English for the majority.
