This means that they will look after you from the moment you land at the airport in South Africa to the moment they drop you off for your return flight home. The packages include all accommodation, transfers, activities mentioned in the trip itinerary (unless otherwise stated) and meals as shown.
However, you will need to book your flights to and from your destination airport in South Africa yourself – but don’t worry, Surf and Turf are more than happy to help you organise this! They can point you in the direction of a good flight comparison website (such as www.travelsupermarket.com/c/cheap-flights) or alternatively recommend different airlines to you, depending on whether you are looking for the best deal or the most comfortable ride. Surf and Turf are happy to help, so please get in touch with them if you have any queries.
Safety should be a consideration on any holiday that you are planning, and is sometimes a worry for first time travellers to South Africa. The country does have a reputation for having crime, but it is important to realise that this is usually localised to very specific areas that can easily be avoided, and incidents involving well informed tourists are very rare. South Africa’s crime rate has been improving over recent years, and although it is important to be alert and on the lookout for potential threats you should remember that as long as you follow some very simple rules you can minimise the chances of anything untoward happening to you:
Remember that if you travel as part of a group with Surf and Turf you will always have a guide nearby to offer advice on how to best keep safe. If you travel as a smaller group or on a self drive holiday they will send you an information pack with more hints and tips on how to best enjoy your holiday and stay secure.
