Competing for a Crown in the UK

The competitive Aussies have submitted eleven jars of marmalade in their bid to steal the culinary crown. The awards take place in Cumbria from 12-13 February and Jane Hasell-McCosh, Founder of the awards commented; “The Australians definitely do have a good shot. We had a good number of entries last year from Australia that were really excellent. We really admired the quality of their marmalade making.”

Back Home at The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival

Victoria is well-known for its superb vineyards, tantalising wines and innovative cuisine and from 4-14 March, Melbourne will hold its annual food and wine festival. Each year, more than 400,000 people attend the festival and celebrate Melbourne’s unique food and wine landscape. The festival will take place all over the city, from bustling rooftops to hidden bars, and there will even be an edible garden and the world's longest lunch held at a mighty 400 metre long table. Nigella Lawson will also make an appearance during the 2011 MasterClass weekend.
