Cacophony & Colours with Thelma and Louise

March 15 - 29, 2008

Thelma and Louise is delighted to bring its members this tour to Rajasthan, the Land of the Kings in India. For anyone visiting India for the first time, Rajasthan provides an exciting, colourful and varied experience.

The highlights of this trip are the 'Elephant Festival' and 'Holi' which celebrates the arrival of spring. The elephants are dressed in all their regal finery, displaying all the splendour of Rajasthan's rich and royal past.

T&L have arranged this tour through their associates, Tiger Travel. As a small, independent travel company, Tiger Travel has been visiting India for over 25 years, bringing women and India together in an unhurried and unpackaged way. This has enabled the company to build up extensive knowledge and expertise of the country and its culture.

A very special element of this tour for T&L members is that it will be taken by Lyn Baker the owner of Tiger Travel. Lyn is an experienced photo-journalist and traveller and has established a great deal of respect within India.

This experience is quintessentially India, allowing you to witness both the past and present glory of the country. With its forts and palaces, crafts and culture, it will prove to be a holiday you will never forget!
