Sunday Lunch at Ronnie Scott's

Sunday Lunch at Ronnie Scott's

AND ALL THAT JAZZ

How's this for a Sunday treat? Top-notch jazz in the best jazz club in the world, Sunday lunch prepared by award winning chefs and all at one of London's most exciting venues

Situated in the heart of London’s bustling Soho, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club has long been a haven for music lovers and performers alike. Since the club started back in 1959, some of the most famous names in jazz music have played on the stage, with artists like Miles Davis and Nina Simone keeping audiences entertained well into the wee small hours of the morning.

A Classy, laid-back haven in London's West End

However, these days it’s not all about burning the midnight oil, as the club has recently introduced a weekly session at a more civilised hour. From 12noon until 4pm each Sunday, Ronnie’s opens itself up for the Sunday Jazz Lunch, a relaxed session open to all that focuses on the more traditional and laid-back side of jazz music – no hour long drum solos or ‘far-out’ trumpet experiments here!

Headline acts have included Natalie Williams and Joe Stilgoe, Manhattan Transfer, Iain Mackenzie, NYJO and cornet player Digby Fairweather and his Half Dozen band. Throughout the year there's a great line up ready to stop by for their turn on the bandstand.

Delicious Menus from Award Winning Chefs

Each session is comprised of two sets from the featured artist, but it’s called the Jazz Lunch for a reason – Ronnie Scott’s has a great kitchen and serves a traditional Sunday roast, along with a good selection of modern food prepared by the award-winning chefs. With a wide range of drinks on offer and a classy and comfortable atmosphere, it’s a great place to avoid the crowds in central London and while away a Sunday afternoon.

Upcoming bands are listed on the club’s website, along with food and drink menus – click here for more information: Ronnie Scott’s Sunday Jazz Lunch
