Eric Knowles and Henry Sandon, best known from the BBC's "Antiques Roadshow", will be appearing in different parts of the country to value audiences' treasures and give an entertaining and informative presentation. This All-Electric Productions event is a must for everyone interested in antiques and collectibles.
Henry Sandon and Eric Knowles take the wraps off the mysterious world of antiques while delighting in demonstrating their skill with both artefacts and people alike.
An evening or afternoon of more than just where, when and how much!
Eric Knowles, presenter of BBC's Antiques Masters, is a leading authority in the glass of Tiffany and Lalique, in European and Oriental Ceramics from the seventeenth to the twentieth century, and nineteenth and twentieth century decorative arts. He was responsible for Bonham's internationally renowned sales of Lalique glass and today he looks after museum liaison and several of his finds can now be seen in national museums.
Finding old pottery in his garden sparked the passion that has since ruled Henry Sandon's life. He is regarded as the world authority on Worcester porcelain and was curator of the Dyson Perrins Museum for many years. He has had a great love for ceramics since his early days as an archaeologist and has a wide knowledge of pottery and porcelain of all periods and countries. He is the author of several books dealing with Worcester and other porcelains, and he lectures frequently on the subject. In 2000 Henry was voted Antiques Personality of the Year by the readers of BBC's Homes & Antiques magazine.
