Are you one the mass of first time marathon and charity runners expected to hit the roads, parks and treadmills this year? Be aware that you are putting your joints under extra pressure.
Whilst the benefits of regular exercise are ten-fold; over two thirds of first time runners will end up with stiff and sore joints that are just too painful to use, probably due to exercising without warming up, running in the wrong kit or poor running technique.
With a survey revealing that 74% of runners over the age of 45 suffer from regular joint pain, first-time runners are urged not to overdo exercise sessions and to look after their joints by taking a natural supplement such as Litozin Joint Health, which can help reduce joint inflammation and keep niggling pains at bay.
LitoZin® Joint Health can be taken for joint pain caused by arthritis, sports injuries or general wear and tear, and it can be taken safely alongside other treatments. And, unlike glucosamine, it can be used by diabetics and people with shellfish allergies.
Scientific studies involving large numbers of arthritis sufferers have shown that GOPO®:
Sports doctor Joseph Babicki, a member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine, said: “It’s great that many people decide to do more exercise as part of their New Year resolutions. But they need to make sure that they’re putting as little strain on, and looking after their joints, as much as possible.”
GOPO® is a naturally-occurring anti-inflammatory agent isolated from the seeds and husks of fruit from a sub-species of Rosa canina (rosehip).
Scientists have found that GOPO® can prevent the migration of inflammatory cells thought to be involved in triggering and maintaining joint inflammation and that it can switch off genes responsible for producing chemicals and enzymes involved in joint inflammation and destruction.
