Natural cure for skin cancer

A woman in her 50s discovered that Epsom Salts cured her two Basal Cell Carcinomas effectively, gently and without scarring.

For the past two years she has been approaching medical research teams working in the field of skin cancer telling them about her discovery and to see if they will undertake research on Epsom Salts / magnesium as a potential cure for non-malignant skin cancer - basal cell carcinoma.

As a remedy for her basal cell carcinomas on her face and leg, the Epsom Salts proved to be gentle, effective, pain free and left no scarring. From a medical economics point of view it is also low cost and readily available. Although she was disappointed by the lack of interest she was not surprised. She is not a doctor or scientist.

A history of BCCs

Why try Epsom Salts in the first place? She had had several basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) in the past. The minor surgery for the biopsy in the last case led to a very extreme reaction to the anaesthetic. But now another BCC had appeared on her face and another on her leg.

The position of the BCC on her face meant that surgery could be disfiguring. That and the fear of the anaesthetic reaction made her seek other solutions. But everything, she soon discovered, had unpleasant side effects or the chance of disfiguring. The course of action she undertook at that point is certainly not to be recommended. She put the problem on the shelf and got on with life.

By July 2007 the skin cancers in both places were getting larger and could no longer be ignored. It was time to take action. The BCC on her forehead that had started as a red footprint with a black dot had grown and was now raised up from the surface and lumpy. The edge had started to roll.

Out of fear of surgery and anaesthetic she sought alternative solutions. One day she was meditating to calm her fears. Skin cancer was very much on her mind and it was difficult to concentrate. But she persisted and during the meditation she felt compelled to try Epsom Salts.

She extensively searched the internet to see if Epsom Salts had been used for such purposes. It drew zero results. But she did discover that Epsom Salts is magnesium and searched for magnesium as a cure for skin cancer. Again, zero results.

The healing process

Although truly believing it could not work she bought a tub of Epsom Salts and tried various ways of applying it to the affected areas. At first the dried crystals produced no effect, but then she added a little water and rubbed vigorously into the areas. Overnight she noticed an effect, although whether that was good or bad it was impossible to tell.

Several days passed and something was definitely happening so she began to take photographs as a record.

What happened then was remarkable. The Epsom Salts worked slowly and effectively. The size of the initial area on her forehead was approximately 7mm. Today in June 2010 there is no sign of the BCC. She is completely clear with no scaring on her forehead or leg. The remedy had worked which meant there was no need for surgery or the associated disfiguration and stress.
