We should all be ashamed of ourselves when we just want to sit by the fire and watch TV and plead old age for an excuse not to go on an adventure.
Check out these four guys all aged between 56 and 84 who set off last Sunday to cross the Atlantic on a raft made of pipes.
The adventure was inspired by the Kon-Tiki expedition in 1947 and they have commemorated this epic voyage and called their vessel An-Tiki as a tribute.
The team led by 84 year old Anthony Smith a former presenter of Tomorrow's World comprises of a solicitor (61), a retired GP (56) and an ocean yacht master (57).
The 2,300 mile trip from the Canary Islands to the Bahamas should take until April to complete and they hope to raise £50,000 for Water Aid.
Good luck to them all in their fund raising attempt.
